Job summary

ZEST Hotel & Resort Ibiza is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to shape the learning, development, and culture strategy ahead of our opening. You will design programs, foster a service-focused culture, and enhance the employee experience from day one.

You will lead onboarding, leadership development, and internal communications, partnering with leaders to close capability gaps and ensure alignment with our vision and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, L&D, Hospitality, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• 4–6 years in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development, or HR, preferably in hospitality or luxury service environments.
• Proven experience designing and delivering training programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, performance management, and talent development practices.
• Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and training reporting tools.
• Fluent in English with excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Learning & Development strategy to support business objectives and operational excellence.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate onboarding, orientation, and induction programs for all new employees.
• Create and manage training programs focused on service excellence, leadership development, technical skills, compliance, and growth.

• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and team-building activities across all departments.
• Measure training effectiveness through feedback, results, and performance indicators.
• Support performance management by providing development tools, resources, and coaching frameworks.
• Develop internal communication initiatives reinforcing ZEST culture, values, and priorities.
• Establish partnerships with external training providers and educational institutions.

About the Role

We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to design and lead the learning, development, and culture strategy for ZEST Hotel & Resort Ibiza ahead of opening.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the capabilities, service culture, and employee experience of the resort from the very beginning. In addition to leading learning and development initiatives, you will play a key role in driving internal communications that connect employees to the ZEST vision, values, and business objectives, fostering engagement and a strong sense of belonging across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Hospitality Management, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
