ZEST Hotel & Resort Ibiza is seeking a proactive People & Culture Executive to shape the employee journey from day one and build a high-performing culture ahead of our opening. You will implement People & Culture processes, support team members through their lifecycle, and bring the ZEST culture to life in every interaction.

Work closely with leaders across the business to ensure experiences reflect our values, service philosophy, and commitment to an exceptional workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in listed fields.
• 2–4 years in HR or People & Culture, preferably hospitality.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and engagement.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English with good communication; MS Office/HR systems proficiency.

ZEST Hotel & Resort is a new luxury resort in Cap Negret, Ibiza, scheduled to open in April 2027. With 206 rooms and seven villas, destination dining, wellness facilities and a Beach Club, we are building a team that will bring warm, thoughful hospitality to every part of the guest experience.

About the role

We are looking for a People & Culture Executive to support the delivery of a people-first employee experience and help build the foundations of a high-performing culture ahead of opening.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the employee journey from the outset, helping to implement People & Culture processes, support team members throughout their lifecycle, and bring the ZEST culture to life through every interaction. Working closely with leaders and colleagues across the business, you will help ensure that every employee experience reflects our values, service philosophy, and commitment to creating an exceptional workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, employee relations, engagement initiatives, and offboarding.
• Act as a first point of contact for employees, providing guidance and support on People & Culture policies, procedures, and employee queries.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding preparation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and data privacy requirements.
• Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives, helping employees grow and succeed in their roles.
• Assist with employee engagement activities and cultural initiatives that reinforce the ZEST values and employee experience.
• Prepare People & Culture reports, metrics, and administrative documentation to support business decision-making.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration processes, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with employees.
• Support managers with day-to-day people matters, helping to promote a positive and high-performing work environment.
• Ensure all People & Culture practices are aligned with company policies, employment legislation, and best practices.
• Champion the ZEST culture by delivering exceptional internal service and creatingpositive employee experiences at every touchpoint.
• Contribute to new projects and initiatives as the business grows, helping to establish and continuously improve People & Culture processes and standards.

This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented people professional who enjoys balancing operational excellence with creating meaningful employee experiences and helping build a thriving culture from the ground up.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Psychology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a Human Resources, People & Culture, or employee-facing role, preferably within hospitality or service-driven environments.
• Experience supporting key people processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and employee engagement.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
