Job summary

ZEST Hotel & Resort Ibiza seeks a Learning & Development Manager to craft and lead the learning, culture, and internal communications strategy ahead of the resort opening. You will shape capabilities, service culture, and employee experience from day one, driving engagement and belonging across the organization.

ZEST Hotel & Resort is a new luxury resort in Cap Negret, Ibiza, scheduled to open in April 2027. With 206 rooms and seven villas, destination dining, wellness facilities, and a Beach Club, we are building a team that will bring warm, thoughtful hospitality to every part of the guest experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to design and lead the learning, development, and culture strategy for ZEST Hotel & Resort Ibiza ahead of opening.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the capabilities, service culture, and employee experience of the resort from the very beginning. In addition to leading learning and development initiatives, you will play a key role in driving internal communications that connect employees to the ZEST vision, values, and business objectives, fostering engagement and a strong sense of belonging across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Learning & Development strategy to support business objectives and operational excellence.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate onboarding, orientation, and induction programs for all new employees.
• Create and manage training programs focused on service excellence, leadership development, technical skills, compliance, and professional growth.
• Partner with department leaders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
• Lead the implementation of The ZEST Effect culture and service standards through engaging learning initiatives.
• Coordinate leadership development programs, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
• Manage the learning management system (LMS), training records, compliance tracking, and reporting.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and team-building activities across all departments.
• Measure training effectiveness through employee feedback, operational results, and performance indicators.
• Support performance management processes by providing development tools, resources, and coaching frameworks.
• Develop and coordinate internal communication initiatives that reinforce the ZEST culture, values, business priorities, and employee engagement.
• Establish partnerships with external training providers, educational institutions, and hospitality organizations.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, innovation, and personal growth throughout the resort.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Hospitality Management, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development, or Human Resources, preferably within hospitality or luxury service environments.
• Proven experience designing and delivering training programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, performance management, and talent development practices.
• Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and training reporting tools.
• Fluent in English, with excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
