Job summary

Learnlight, Madrid-based, is hiring a Junior Business Development Representative to support our commercial expansion. You will focus on lead generation and outreach, scheduling qualified meetings for the Sales team, and nurturing prospects in both English and Spanish.

This is a remote, full-time role reporting to the Head of Business Development, Spain. You will collaborate with Sales and Account Management, build a pipeline, and grow toward a full-cycle BD role based on performance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar sales outreach role.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and follow up on inquiries to support a strong sales pipeline.
• Conduct discovery calls to identify needs, align solutions, and book qualified meetings for the Sales team.
• Engage and nurture prospects with tailored messaging to build trust and long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to define target accounts and prospecting strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of lead activity and opportunity status in CRM to support reporting.

Your Career Opportunity

In this exciting new career opportunity, you’ll be reporting to the Head of Business Development, Spain on full-time hours and working from home remotely.

As a Junior Business Development Representative, you’ll have a direct impact on supporting our commercial expansion in the local market. Positioned at the early stage of the sales funnel, this role focuses primarily on lead generation and outreach, laying the groundwork for client engagement and supporting the broader Sales and BDR teams. You will:

• Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and follow-up on inbound and marketing-generated inquiries to support a strong sales pipeline
• Conduct discovery calls with prospects to identify needs, align solutions, and book qualified meetings for the Sales team, ensuring proper handoff and documentation
• Engage and nurture prospects with relevant, tailored messaging and content to build trust and long-term relationships
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to define target accounts, ideal customer profiles, and prospecting strategies within prioritized industries
• Maintain accurate records of lead activity and opportunity status in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to support reporting and pipeline visibility
• Develop commercial skills and gradually take ownership of a small pipeline, progressing toward a full-cycle Business Development role based on performance

What You’ll Offer

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role involving sales outreach; EdTech experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with confidence using CRM tools and MS Office 365 to manage outreach and track progress
• A collaborative spirit, comfortable working closely with Sales and Account Management teams to drive success together
• Genuine enthusiasm for EdTech or corporate training, along with a desire to grow within a consultative sales career
