Us3 Consulting, con sede en Andalucía, Málaga, busca un IT Support Engineer para prestar soporte IT en plantas industriales. El rol abarca soporte diario de usuario, escritorio, aplicaciones y resolución de incidencias onsite.

Se trabajará con Windows/Microsoft 365, redes básicas y migraciones. Se requiere experiencia de 2+ años y capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente en planta.

Formación

Experiencia en IT de soporte, escritorio o servicio al cliente.
Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente en un entorno onsite.
Conocimientos básicos de redes y resolución de incidencias.

Responsabilidades

Proporcionar soporte IT de 1er/2do/3er nivel en sitio a usuarios.
Solucionar problemas en escritorios, portátiles, periféricos y apps.
Soportar entornos Windows y Microsoft 365.

IT Support Engineer / Plant IT Support Engineer

Role Description

We are looking for hands-on IT Support Engineers along with MSSQL DBA’s for a large project to provide onsite technical support within manufacturing and industrial locations.

The role will focus primarily on day-to-day user support, desktop support, application support and local IT troubleshooting, while also assisting with infrastructure and project activities such as Windows upgrades, device refreshes, network issues and local systems support.

This is a broad support role. Candidates are not expected to be specialists in every technology listed, but should have a good general IT support background and be comfortable working independently onsite.

Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite 1st/2nd/3rd line IT support to users. (Either 1st or 2nd or 3rd - depending on your experience)
Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals and standard office applications.
Support Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
Assist users with hardware, software, login, connectivity and application issues.
Support local networking and connectivity issues.
Assist with Windows upgrades, PC refreshes and migration projects.
Support local printers, scanners and other workplace technology.
Provide basic support around Cisco networking.
Support virtual environments such as VMware where required.
Assist with MS SQL-related application/database issues and elevate specialist DBA issues where necessary.
Support MES / manufacturing systems used within the plant.
Assist with CAD and engineering applications.
Support backup/recovery tools, including Rubrik, where used.
Log, manage and resolve incidents and service requests.
Liaise with central IT teams and specialist support teams when escalation is required.
Maintain local IT documentation and asset information.
Support neighbouring sites where practical and geographically appropriate.
Provide holiday/sickness cover where required.

Essential Skills

Experience in either IT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk, Field Support or Site Support or DBA.
Strong Windows desktop support skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Basic networking knowledge.
Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Able to work independently onsite.
Willingness to support users in a manufacturing / industrial environment.
