Job summary

Verisure Alicante is hiring an IT Operations Technician to join our Technology Department. The role monitors critical systems and coordinates rapid incident response to minimize downtime across our 24/7 operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in IT operations, experience with incident tools, and fluency in Spanish and English. Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, are required. You will collaborate with global teams and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in IT operations, monitoring, SOC, or NOC roles.
• Familiarity with incident management tools (e.g., Jira, Opsgenie, Helix).
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Availability for rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical systems to detect anomalies early and trigger rapid incident response across alerting platforms.
• Triage incoming incidents with accuracy, ensuring they follow the right workflow and priority path.
• Assess impact and execute first-response actions using predefined troubleshooting steps to contain issues quickly.
• Escalate and coordinate with second-level teams, driving continuous improvement in incident handling and operational efficiency.
