Mandarin Oriental in Madrid, Spain invites an IT Operations & User Support professional to help install and upgrade Windows on hotel devices, ensure software works across devices, and verify network connectivity.

You will assist with Office applications, printers, and network issues, manage IT consumables, and track tickets in KACE while supporting preventative maintenance and in-room tech checks.

Formación

• Support the installation and upgrading of operating systems (Windows) on hotel devices.
• Assist in ensuring software applications function correctly across hotel devices.
• Support configuration and verification of network connectivity for computers and devices.
• Assist colleagues with Office applications, peripherals, printing, and network issues.
• Follow up IT support tickets via the KACE system and track resolutions.
• Review daily IT reports and elevate issues to the IT team when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in reviewing failed software patches and updates under supervision.
• Support vulnerability management and research solutions to reduce medium-risk vulnerabilities.
• Develop knowledge of Active Directory administration, including user account creation and management.
• Learn Office 365 administration processes, including license assignment and delegation management.
• Gain exposure to virtualization technologies and infrastructure platforms such as Simplivity.
• Shadow senior IT staff during hardware and server upgrade projects.
• Participate in troubleshooting hotel technology systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of hotel systems and data.
• Attend required departmental meetings and training.
