Job summary

Dabster is seeking an Infrastructure Field IT Engineer to provide on-site technical support and maintain IT infrastructure across assigned locations. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring reliability and business continuity.

The role involves hands-on maintenance, collaboration with central IT teams, and deployment of upgrades at multiple sites. Candidates should have strong Windows, AD, networking knowledge and be able to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or field support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint security.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and remote support tools.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, connectivity, and user access.
• Perform routine checks, patching, and updates on servers and network components.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
• Assist in onboarding/offboarding activities including device provisioning and access setup.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assets, incidents, and service requests.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection protocols.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrade projects and site rollouts.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.
