A leading technology solutions provider based in Tres Cantos, Spain, is seeking a technician to support various electronic and mechanical tasks within the space sector. Responsibilities include assembling printed circuit boards, managing project materials, and improving work processes. Candidates should possess skills in soldering, cable manufacturing, and electronics assembly. Formación

• Technicians with knowledge of TH and SMD electronic component soldering.
• Experience in cable manufacturing and assembly of electronic equipment.
• Ability to perform small machining operations and HW testing.
• HW testing and repairs of equipment.
• Basic electrical installations and equipment setup.

Responsabilidades

• Support printed circuit board prototypes for development and testing.
• Manufacture and assemble printed circuit boards using traditional and SMD components.
• Update and maintain work environments to match market techniques.
• Assemble cables (coaxial, data, power, fiber optic) for GMV projects.
• Manage purchasing and safekeeping of project materials.
• Update and improve work environments with market-adequate techniques.

What challenge will you be taking on?

In our team, you will perform tasks such as:

• Supporting printed circuit board prototypes for equipment under development and for testing.
• Enclosure prototypes for equipment under development.
• Making cables for prototypes and testing.
• Manufacturing and assembling printed circuit boards, using both traditional and SMD components. Assembling cables (coaxial, data, power, fiber optic) for any GMV unit project.
• Manufacturing and assembling mechanical components for equipment.
• Purchasing management.
• Safekeeping of project materials.
• Updating and improving our work environments, striving to keep up to date with market techniques.

What do we need in our team?

For this position, we are looking for technicians with knowledge of TH and SMD electronic component soldering, cable manufacturing, assembly and wiring of electronic equipment, assembly of mechanical parts, use of tools for small machining operations, HW testing and repairs, basic electrical and equipment installations.

In addition, knowledge of rack and subrack assembly, structuring the necessary copper and fiber cabling, and packaging management for the protection of materials/equipment in shipments will be valued.
