Job summary

Flender is seeking an Internal Sales Support Professional to join our Madrid office (Tres Cantos). The role sits within the sales team, requiring autonomy, collaboration, and responsiveness to management direction.

You will support sales processes, analyze customer needs, and help define optimal Flender-based solutions. The ideal candidate combines a mechanical engineering background with customer-focused mindset, experience in SAP, and language skills in Spanish (native level) with English

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar sales support role.
• Mechanical engineering background is essential.
• Proficient in SAP; Salesforce is a plus.
• Fluent Spanish; English preferred; German a plus.
• Ability to manage workload and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs for mechanical power transmission solutions.
• Prepare solutions with standard Flender products and define custom tailored solutions.
• Review and book customer quotations; process orders with stakeholders.
• Proactively manage projects and interface with product/marketing groups.
• Provide technical and quality documentation to customers; handle aftersales inquiries.
• Back-office support for general duties.

Job description

We are looking for an Internal Sales Support Professional who will work in our office in Madrid - Tres Cantos. As part of the sales team, you should be able to work autonomously, contribute to a team, and respond effectively to management direction.

You will be responsible for ensuring that sales support activities are undertaken to the highest standard and processes set out by Flender.

Ideal Candidate: You are highly adaptable, determined, and excel in customer-focused situations. You enjoy working collaboratively with others to develop solutions. You take pride in contributing to the team’s success. Mechanical engineering background or similar.

What are your responsibilities?

• Analyze customer needs for mechanical power transmission solutions
• Prepare solutions with standard Flender products
• Define custom tailored solutions with Flender products and complement them with external products such as electrical motors, geared motors, or peripheral mechanical elements
• Analyze end customers' needs and support their decision-making process
• Prepare, review and book customer quotations
• Review customer orders and check consistency and completeness in cooperation with all involved stakeholders on both customer side and Flender teams; Process orders
• Proactively perform project management tasks in relevant orders
• Interface with product / marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes
• Provide information to customers and/or general sales, such as technical and quality documentation
• Take care of aftersales and service enquiries
• Act as back-office support for general duties

Skills:

• Previous experience in similar roles: 2 years or more
• Mechanical engineering experience is essential.
• SAP experience would be an advantage
• Salesforce experience would be an advantage
• Ability to manage own workload and priorities when appropriate
• Spanish: fluent, high level such as native
• English language skills would be preferred; German would be a plus
