Job summary

Flender in Madrid–Tres Cantos is seeking an Internal Sales Support professional to join the office. You will analyze customer needs, prepare solutions with Flender products, and define tailored configurations with external items to support decision making.

You will manage quotations, review orders with stakeholders, and perform project management tasks while interfacing with product and marketing groups. Fluency in Spanish, English preferred; German a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar sales support role.
• Mechanical engineering background is essential.
• SAP experience is advantageous.
• Salesforce experience is advantageous.
• Ability to manage own workload and priorities.
• Spanish fluent; English preferred; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs for mechanical power transmission solutions
• Prepare solutions with standard Flender products
• Define custom tailored solutions with Flender products and complement them with external products
• Analyze end customers' needs and support their decision-making process
• Prepare, review and book customer quotations
• Review customer orders and ensure completeness in cooperation with stakeholders on both customer side and Flender teams; Process orders
• Proactively perform project management tasks in relevant orders
• Interface with product / marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes
• Provide information to customers and/or general sales, such as technical and quality documentation
• Take care of aftersales and service enquiries
• Act as back-office support for general duties

We are looking for an Internal Sales Support Professional who will work in our office in Madrid - Tres Cantos. As part of the sales team, you should be able to work autonomously, contribute to a team, and respond effectively to management direction.

You will be responsible for ensuring that sales support activities are undertaken to the highest standard and processes set out by Flender.

What are your responsibilities?

• Analyze customer needs for mechanical power transmission solutions
• Prepare solutions with standard Flender products
• Define custom tailored solutions with Flender products and complement them with external products such as electrical motors, geared motors, or peripheral mechanical elements
• Analyze end customers' needs and support their decision-making process
• Prepare, review and book customer quotations
• Review customer orders and check consistency and completeness in cooperation with all involved stakeholders on both customer side and Flender teams; Process orders
• Proactively perform project management tasks in relevant orders
• Interface with product / marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes
• Provide information to customers and/or general sales, such as technical and quality documentation
• Take care of aftersales and service enquiries
• Act as back-office support for general duties

Skills:

• Previous experience in similar roles: 2 years or more
• Mechanical engineering experience is essential.
• SAP experience would be an advantage
• Salesforce experience would be an advantage
• Ability to manage own workload and priorities when appropriate
• Spanish: fluent, high level such as native
• English language skills would be preferred; German would be a plus
