Allianz Technology's Internal IT Services offers a hands-on internship in Barcelona, joining a global effort to understand, control, and optimize IT spend. You will analyse consumption data, spot anomalies, and work with senior team members on cost-saving initiatives.

You'll work with Power BI dashboards, automate workflows using Power Automate/Power Apps, and gain exposure to AI tooling in a multi-country environment. Hybrid work and mentorship await.

Formación

• Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI.
• Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps is a strong plus.
• Curiosity about automation and willingness to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Fluent English and good communication across cultures.

• Read, interpret, and build on existing Power BI dashboards; evolve reporting toolkit.

• Collaborate with colleagues across global locations on joint cost-optimization initiatives.
• Work side by side with senior team members on solutions that directly impact the company's bottom line.

About the Job

We're Allianz Technology's Internal IT Services function. In short: we make sure Allianz Technology runs its own IT smartly: optimizing how we consume non-commercial IT services, keeping costs and consumption transparent, and ensuring compliance across the service lifecycle. The outcome is better budget accuracy, measurable savings, and audit-ready operations.

That's where you come in.

Join our Central Internal IT Services Team and contribute to how a global technology organization understands, controls, and optimizes its IT spend. You'll work directly with senior team members on real cost-saving initiatives. Starting with analysing services scope, consumption patterns across locations, spotting anomalies in expense & consumption data and helping automate the way we work.

This is a hands-on internship: you'll see how data analytics translates into concrete financial decisions, follow up on execution, and you'll have the chance to own pieces of the work end-to-end.

What you do

What you bring

• Master's degree (completed or in the final year) in Finance, Business, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI; familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps is a strong plus.
• Genuine curiosity about automation and a willingness to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Fluent English (our business language), additional languages are welcome.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable collaborating across cultures and time zones.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use. Comfort using AI tools and writing effective prompts.
