Allianz Technology’s Global Learning & Development team seeks a curious, self-directed intern to explore how AI could change our day-to-day work and standardize processes. You’ll research, pitch ideas, teach the team what you’ve learned, and contribute to strategic priorities like professionalizing L&D and developing the AZ Tech Culture Framework.

You’ll work hybrid in Barcelona, with a 9–14 schedule, receive a laptop, and engage in weekly activities as you gain real-world experience in learning

Responsabilidades

• Explore how AI could meaningfully change the team's day-to-day workflow and bring concrete recommendations.
• Research and benchmark ways of working and identify processes to automatize, standardize or professionalize.
• Design and pitch small-scale experiments to test new approaches and help the team evaluate outcomes.
• Support strategic task teams with data analysis, research and synthesis where useful.
• Help prepare strategic presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Regularly present findings and points of view to the team and senior stakeholders with a case for action.
• Own your workstream and identify what is worth investigating.

About the Job

Allianz Technology's Global Learning & Development team is looking for a curious, self-directed intern to take on a role unlike a typical internship. This is not only a support position — it is a dedicated seat for someone to explore the questions our team is too close to the system to ask ourselves: where AI could change how we work, where our processes need standardizing, and what we should be experimenting with next.

You’ll spend your time researching, pitching ideas, and teaching the team what you’ve learned — while also contributing to our strategic priorities: professionalizing L&D, developing the AZ Tech Culture Framework, and moving toward a skills-based organization.

What you do

• Explore how AI (Copilot, Claude, AllianzGPT, etc.) could meaningfully change the team's day-to-day workflow, and bring concrete recommendations.
• Research and benchmark our ways of working, and identify where processes need automatizating, standardizing or professionalizing.
• Design and pitch small-scale experiments to test new approaches, then help the team evaluate what worked.
• Support the strategic task teams (L&D professionalization, AZ Tech Culture Framework, skills-based organization) with data analysis, research and synthesis where useful.
• Help and support in the preparation of strategic presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Regularly present findings and points of view back to the team and senior stakeholders — not just written summaries, but a case for action.
• Own your own workstream: identify what’s worth investigating.

What you bring

• Genuine curiosity about how teams and organizations actually work. Strong “teach-back” skills — able to present what you’ve learned in a way that adds value.
• Interest in Learning and Skills Development fields. Excellent working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Hands-on daily use of AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in your own work.
• Self-direction: comfortable identifying what is worth working on rather than only executing assigned tasks.
• Highly comfortable working with data, can handle Automation tools, such as Power automate, Power BI.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English. Fluency or Intermediate in Spanish not required, but would be an advantage.
• Nice to have: Prior internship experience (1–2 placements ideal); Survey design experience (Qualtrics, MS Forms); Exposure to learning, evaluation, or measurement frameworks; Design tools for prototyping ideas (Figma, Canva); Familiarity with project/task management tools (Planner, Jira).
