Allianz Technology in Barcelona is offering a Controlling Intern position within the Central Functions team. You will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning in a tech-driven environment.

The role involves assisting in financial reports, supporting month-end closings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while developing practical skills in Excel and AI basics. The internship is 6 months with a hybrid work model in a modern Barcelona office.

As a Controlling Intern for Central Functions at Allianz Technology, you will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning within a tech-driven environment. You will work closely with our Controlling team to support various financial processes and projects that enhance the effectiveness of our central functions.

What You Do

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support the month-end and other periodic closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances relevant to technology operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and consolidate financial information.
• Provide administrative support to the Controlling team as needed.

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. Interest in technology and its impact on financial processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
