Cognizant is hiring for an SPE-Ins Claims role in Spain. The hybrid position focuses on end-to-end claims processing, providing accurate, empathetic customer service to policyholders and partners with rotational shifts and no travel required.

The role involves end-to-end claims support, documentation, and inquiry resolution while applying strong insurance knowledge and customer service to achieve compliant, meaningful outcomes. Training on property and casualty concepts is included.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance or related domain and customer service.
• Familiarity with core insurance terms and claims workflows; property & casualty knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to explain complex claim decisions clearly and professionally.
• Accurate data entry and navigation of claims systems.
• Adaptable to rotational shifts and hybrid work.
• Willingness to ongoing learning about regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming claims inquiries and service requests with courtesy and accuracy.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of claims from notification to closure.
• Analyze claim information to identify coverage details and apply domain knowledge.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information and remove bottlenecks.
• Provide clear explanations of claim status, next steps, and timelines to customers.
• Log interactions and update claim records for analytics, audits, and reporting.
• Follow rotational shift processes to maintain consistent service levels across time windows.
• Apply problem-solving to identify recurring issues and suggest workflow improvements.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements, protecting customer confidentiality.
• Support hybrid work model by staying productive and connected, whether on-site or remote.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing by documenting FAQs and best practices.
• Engage in training on property and casualty insurance concepts to improve support quality.
