Munich Re is seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Technician to join our Madrid team on a full-time basis. You will ensure accurate processing of operational and insurance cash movements, coordinating with suppliers, employees, and the business.

Responsibilities include handling payments/receipts, reconciliations, audits, and KPI reporting while maintaining strict controls and timely delivery. Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional EU languages are a plus.

Qualificações

• Experience with end-to-end receivables processes.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Italian or German skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work.
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Process and record operational and insurance cash movements accurately.
• Handle premium, claims, and commission payments and receipts.
• Address queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist balance sheet controls and reconciliations.
• Support annual audit with documentation and walkthroughs.
• Upload bank statements and clear open ledger items.
• Prepare KPI reporting for consolidation by the team.
• Document processes and note areas of judgement.
• Manage tasks within agreed timelines and schedule reviews.
• Contribute to continual process improvements with stakeholders.
