Munich Re Madrid is seeking a Reinsurance Claims Accountant to join our international team in Madrid. You will process and record reinsurance claim transactions, review claim payments, and ensure accurate accounting per internal controls.

This role requires at least three years of finance experience, strong Excel and SAP skills, and fluent Spanish and English. We value intercultural competence, independence, and a collaborative mindset as you manage a designated client portfolio and participate

Formación

• Degree in administration, finance, economics, or business sciences.
• Re/ Insurance claims knowledge is highly valued.
• At least three years of working experience, preferably in finance areas.
• Expertise in MS-Office, particularly Excel, and in SAP tools.
• Analytical skills and accuracy in dealing with figures.
• Self-confident approach combined with a high degree of dedication to working effectively and independently, willing to face new responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills, high degree of intercultural competence and team spirit.
• Good knowledge of Spanish and English (written and spoken). Italian and/or Portuguese is highly valued.

Munich Re Madrid is responsible for Non-Life technical accounting and claims handling services for Iberia, Latin America, Caribbean and Italy. We are looking for a flexible and highly motivated Reinsurance Claims Accountant in this interesting, dynamic and international setting, contributing with expertise and engagement in the growing multicultural department.
