Job summary

Sulzer in Madrid is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist fluent in English, with additional language skills (French/German/Italian) advantageous. The role supports AR collections, dispute resolution, and KPI reporting within the GF Finance & Controlling team in Spain.

You will drive overdue reduction, coordinate with sales and local finance, participate in CoE migrations, and help standardize AR processes across the group while acting as SME for AR Collections.

Qualifications

• Financial background with good understanding of OTC processes.
• Fluency in English is a must; German, French, Italian or other European languages are a plus.
• Experience in Cash Collections or AR in Shared Services is a plus.
• SAP & FSCM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking action to reduce AR overdue across entities under responsibility.
• Follow-up collections for assigned customer accounts via phone and email.
• Identify and resolve disputes impacting payments and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Define efficient collection strategies with CoE Team Leader and ensure compliance with Sulzer guidelines.
• Support KPI calculation and maintenance of AR records.
• Participate in meetings with LE stakeholders and escalate AR issues when needed.
• Assist in migrating new customers and LEs to the CoE in Madrid.
• Support standardization of AR collection processes across the group.
• Act as SME for AR Collections and share best practices across the Group.
