Job summary

Wolters Kluwer International is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join the Health Research team. You will lead development of high-quality, structured responses to RFPs and tenders, coordinating cross-functional contributors and managing timelines to ensure compliant, customer-focused proposals aligned with Wolters Kluwer Health standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 3 years of proposal writing, tender management, RFP response, bid management, or related commercial writing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Exceptional editing, proofreading, and document-quality skills.
• Ability to interpret complex requirements and translate into clear responses.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, compliant work under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
• Experience with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing).
• Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with proposal management, content management, or CRM tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of healthcare or health research environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear, accurate proposals for RFPs, tenders, and RFx opportunities.
• Coordinate inputs, timelines, reviews, approvals, and submissions across departments.
• Write, edit, proofread, and format proposal responses to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Analyze solicitations and develop compliant response plans and content outlines.
• Maintain and improve the proposal content library with standard responses and reusable content.
• Track proposal activity, deadlines, risks, and quality measures.
• Collaborate with Sales and business leaders to translate customer needs into differentiated responses.
• Improve RFP and tender processes, templates, tools, and content governance across the Health organization.
