Job summary

Carhartt WIP is seeking a detailed and organized Accounting Specialist (m/f/x) for our Ibiza office to join our team. You will register and record vendor and customer invoices, manage bank reconciliations, and support day-to-day accounting tasks.

You will assist with monthly and annual closes, prepare accruals, and help gather documents for audits. The role requires fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English, and a proactive, autonomous approach in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or formal training in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Proven accounting experience with full accounting cycle.
• Hands-on with bank reconciliations, invoicing, AP and AR.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical mindset.
• Knowledge of Spanish Accounting Standards (PGC).
• Organized, detail-oriented with strong planning under monthly closings.
• Collaborative team player with good communication and proactive attitude.
• Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Register and record vendor and customer invoices and daily accounting entries.
• Manage bank reconciliations and treasury cash flow movements.
• Perform accounts payable reconciliations.
• Monitor and record daily billing and invoicing operations.
• Process and record corporate expenses (PLEO).
• Reconcile general ledger with POS systems.
• Assist with monthly and annual closings.
• Prepare accruals, deferrals, and expense provisions.
• Support audits with documentation and data gathering.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation.
