Empresa Confidencial in Barcelona, Spain, seeks an Iberia HR Director to lead the people strategy and HR operations for Iberia, ensuring alignment with global objectives while addressing local market needs. Reporting to senior leadership, this role acts as a trusted business partner, driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and compliance across the country.

Formación

  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience with significant leadership responsibilities.
  • Senior HR leadership experience in international and matrix organizations.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary HR teams.
  • Strong background across core HR disciplines: talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and labor law.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business transformation, organizational change and growth.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives and influencing key business decisions.
  • Knowledge of the Spanish labor market and employment framework is essential.
  • Fluent Spanish and English are required.

Responsabilidades

  • Define and execute the HR strategy for Spain in alignment with global business objectives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Country Leadership Team on all people-related matters.
  • Lead and develop a team of three HR professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Design and implement employee engagement, culture, and change management programs.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits policies, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish labor legislation and corporate governance requirements.
  • Lead employee relations activities, including interaction with employee representatives and external stakeholders when required.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to support business decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with regional and global HR teams to implement international policies, processes, and projects.
  • Drive diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Support organizational transformation and business growth through effective people management practices.

The role includes the leadership of a team of three HR professionals and requires a strong balance of strategic vision, operational excellence, and stakeholder management.

Mission

To design, implement, and lead the people agenda in Spain, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of talent while fostering a high-performance culture that supports sustainable business growth and alignment with the company's international strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record in a senior HR leadership role within an international and matrix organization.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary HR teams.
  • Strong background across all core HR disciplines, including talent management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, organizational development, and labor law.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business transformation, organizational change, and growth environments.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives and influencing key business decisions.
  • Knowledge of the Spanish labor market and employment framework is essential.
  • Fluent Spanish and English are required.
