Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at the Queenstown facility in the Eastern Cape. You will manage receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatch, while directing a team to maintain inventory accuracy and high safety standards.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, proficiency with WMS and MS Office, and a track record of optimizing processes. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in warehouse operations with 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Experience in receiving, warehousing, distribution and dispatch operations
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and inventory controls
• Lean or Six Sigma experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of warehouse staff and ensure efficient workflow
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and accuracy via cycle counts
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed
• Train and motivate staff and optimize space and equipment
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and staff performance
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
