Zoomo in Madrid is seeking an accounting/finance operations specialist to ensure accurate entries, timely payments, and clean ledgers across markets.

You will work with our Finance Lead and external accountants, closing monthly cycles and improving processes as our European hub grows.

Fluent English, 2+ years experience, and comfort with changing procedures are required; hybrid work with some flexibility.

Competenze

• 2+ years in accounting or finance operations with hands-on journal entries.
• Solid A/P and A/R, plus end-to-end bank reconciliation.
• ERP or accounting system knowledge and defendable spreadsheets.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, across markets.
• Accurate under close deadlines with audit-traceable postings.
• Discretion with bank access and confidential data.
• Comfortable in a fast-changing business with evolving processes.

Mansioni

• Post supplier and customer invoices, accruals, prepayments and intercompany recharges.
• Record fixed assets, hub transfers, depreciations, and asset register alignment.
• Run payment cycles, reconcile bank accounts, manage mandates and signatories.
• Operate the cost control and approval matrix; review monthly spend.
• Own month-end close checklist and reconciliations; provide explainable variance data.
• Prepare IVA/VAT data and work with gestoría and external accountants.
