Job summary

WavesReach seeks an Accountant to support the Spanish entity, ensuring local regulatory compliance and alignment with Group procedures and deadlines. You will manage GL, AR, AP, and treasury, ensuring accurate records and timely closings while serving as the main contact for the local team and tax firm.

Based in Madrid with a hybrid schedule, you will contribute to cross‑country reporting, optimize processes, and grow with a growing international group.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in international environments.
• Solid knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax regulations.
• Ability to work with Group procedures and deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365.
• Fluent Spanish; professional English level for HQ reporting.
• Experience in multinational groups or multiple legal entities.
• Familiarity with closing and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting activities for the Spanish entity (GL, AR, AP, treasury).
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and data.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings per Group deadlines.
• Act as main contact with local team and tax firm.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish accounting and tax regulations.
• Prepare balance sheet and bank reconciliations; report to HQ.
• Contribute to group accounting procedures and cross-country reporting.
