Cledara is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist in Barcelona to own day-to-day finance activities and strengthen processes, controls, and reporting for a high-impact SaaS fintech startup. You will work hands-on across month-end closing, AP/AR, reconciliations, and core accounting.

The role offers a hybrid model with 3 days in the Barcelona office, collaboration with a growing Finance team, and opportunities to automate processes and expand responsibilities.

Formación

• 3–6 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, FP&A or a similar environment.
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles.
• Practical experience with AR, AP, reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Experience working with accounting systems and financial data.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Experience working in a multi-entity or international environment is highly desirable.
• Fluent English; Fluent Spanish is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Month-End Close: Take deep, hands-on personal ownership of the month-end closing process from end to end.
• Accounts Payable: Manage invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, coding, and payment runs.
• Accounts Receivable & Collections: Oversee invoicing, customer reconciliations, ageing reports, and collections.
• Core Accounting: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, journals, accruals, prepayments, and deferred revenue/income.
• Reconciliations: Perform bank, balance sheet, P&L, and general ledger account reconciliations with high accuracy.
• Process Improvements: Continuously question the status quo; identify bottlenecks and implement improvements or automation.
• Systems & Data: Navigate ERP systems and use advanced Excel to manipulate and extract value from large datasets.
