Booking.com in Spain seeks a Labor Relations Lead to provide strategic leadership across Spain, managing works councils and unions within a multi-country context. You will drive regional labor relations strategy, oversee cross-country consistency, and ensure timely, compliant engagement with social bodies.

The role requires strong expertise in labor law, fluency in English and Spanish, and experience managing complex social dialogue across diverse markets.

Formación

• Expert knowledge of collective labor law and works agreements.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience with works council negotiations and cross-border company agreements, plus cross-functional project management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop regional labor relations strategy for Spain aligned with company goals.
• Standardize labor relations communications across EMEA and the European Works Council for consistency.
• Oversee BAU processes including annual consultations and working groups with unions.
• Engage leadership in early design phases to integrate social requirements.
• Lead social bodies through consultations ensuring timely implementation of decisions.
• Provide oversight of Works Council negotiations and mandatory consultations to secure buy-in.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and manage related risks.
• Collaborate with Employment Legal, Statutory Directors, and Business HR on cross-country negotiations.
• Foster transparency and trust with social partners at all levels.
• Regular presence in Spanish offices with up to 20% travel in EMEA.
