Job summary

IQVIA in Madrid is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to implement site EHS policies, ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace at the local level.

You will oversee EHS programs across sites, drive audits and CAPAs, deliver safety trainings, and report KPIs aligned with corporate goals, partnering with senior management to address hazards and maintain regulatory compliance in Spain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and regulatory knowledge of environmental and safety laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a multi-site EHS role.
• Strong organization and analytical skills; excellent interpersonal and training abilities.
• Certified Safety Professional and/or CIH or eligible for certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHS programs at the site level to ensure compliance with IQVIA EHS policies and regulations.
• Coordinate corrective actions from audits and maintain compliance calendar.
• Train large groups on safety procedures and environmental laws.
• Conduct internal risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify risks.
• Assist in developing CAPAs and ensuring corrective actions are implemented at site locations.
• Ensure local management of safety resources and training delivery.
• Collate and report EHS KPIs in line with Corporate objectives.
