Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Customer Payment Resolution Specialist in Barcelona, Spain, to join our Credit & Collections team. This hybrid role offers 2 office days and 3 remote days after onboarding, with a focus on timely payments and excellent customer service.

You will collaborate with customers, sales, and finance to resolve payment issues, with strong emphasis on communication and problem-solving. Multicultural environment with growth opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Polish (C2/native) and English.
• Completed studies (degree not required in Business Admin or Economics, but any completed studies are required).
• Experience handling inbound and outbound customer communications by phone and email.
• Understanding of customer accounts and general business workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collections of outstanding balances from customers according to Air Products’ credit & collections escalation policy.
• Respond to customer calls and emails within targets; identify and escalate complaints as appropriate.
• Anticipate and communicate with customer services, sales and customers about disputed items and payment issues.
• Support and back up other collectors as needed.
• Liaise with the credit & collections team lead on credit issues.
• Keep logs of customer information up to date.
