Job summary

European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg seeks an Associate HR Systems Officer – Payroll & Absence Management to join HR Analytics, Remuneration & Employee Services. The role combines support and maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM with transition activities to Oracle Cloud HCM, focusing on payroll and absence modules.

The successful candidate will work within HRIS to collaborate with HR, GIS, and vendors, ensuring high-quality configurations and testing across releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 3+ years in HRIS or HR systems with payroll knowledge.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM or PeopleSoft HCM.
• Experience with payroll or absence management modules.
• Strong data analysis and SQL skills.
• Fluent English and French; other EU languages a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document functional requirements for Oracle Cloud HCM and PeopleSoft HCM.
• Translate business needs into system configurations and specifications.
• Develop test plans and coordinate UAT with HR stakeholders.
• Coordinate quarterly Oracle Cloud HCM releases and ensure deployment readiness.
• Provide guidance on effective use of HCM functionalities and liaise with vendors.
• Maintain configuration documentation and release notes.
• Serve as liaison between HR, GIS, and external providers.
