Job summary

BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group in Barcelona seeks a proactive HR Intern to join our People team. This internship offers hands-on experience across HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, and employee support in an international, creative setting.

This internship is intended for students who can provide a university internship agreement and work in a dynamic, collaborative office. You will gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle and mentorship from an experienced People team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field.
• Eligible to complete an internship through a university agreement.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication in English and Spanish.
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in an international environment.
• Interest in HR Operations, employee lifecycle management and recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment activities, including candidate screening and interview coordination.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Help prepare HR documentation and maintain employee records.
• Support employee communications and People team initiatives.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and HR system administration.
• Provide general administrative support to the People team.

In our Barcelona office, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our People team in Barcelona. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, and employee support within an international and creative work environment.

This internship is intended for students who can provide a university internship agreement ("convenio de prácticas").

What you will be doing:

• Support recruitment activities, including candidate screening and interview coordination.
• Assist with onboarding andoffboarding processes.
• Help prepare HR documentation and maintain employee records.
• Support employee communications and People team initiatives.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and HR system administration.
• Provide general administrative support to the People team.

What we are looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Labour Relations & Human Resources, Labour Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Eligible to complete an internship through a university agreement.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced international environment.
• Interest in HR Operations, employee lifecycle management, and recruitment.
