At Claire Joster Executive, we are looking for a Head of HR Iberia to join a multinational company within the industrial sector, taking responsibility for the People agenda across Spain and Portugal.

Based in Alicante, this is a key leadership position within the country management structure, working closely with the business and the international HR organization.

Your Mission

You will lead the People agenda across Iberia, acting as a true strategic business partner and ensuring that people and organizational decisions are aligned with business priorities and local market realities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the HR strategy across Spain and Portugal, translating European and global initiatives into effective local actions.
• Partner with senior leadership on organizational effectiveness, leadership, talent management and workforce planning.
• Lead the employee and labor relations agenda across Iberia, acting as the key HR contact for employee representative bodies.
• Manage labor negotiations and employment-related matters, anticipating risks and ensuring compliance with local labor legislation.
• Drive organizational development, change management, succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with international HR teams, Centers of Expertise and People Operations to ensure the effective delivery of HR policies and processes.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead, support and develop the HR team within the Iberian organization.

We are looking for a senior HR professional with:

• A university degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in HR Business Partner or senior generalist HR leadership positions.
• Strong experience within industrial and matrix organizations.
• Solid expertise in labor relations, collective negotiations and employee representation.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leadership teams and influence decision-making in complex environments.
• Experience in organizational transformation, leadership development and change management.
• Fluent Spanish and English. Additional European languages will be considered a plus.
• A strategic yet pragmatic mindset, with a collaborative approach, strong business orientation and the ability to remain hands-on when needed.
