bsport is hiring a VP of Engineering to lead strategy, organisation and execution across our Barcelona and Paris offices. You will partner with the CTO and CPO to shape the engineering function and scale our product platform for growth.

You will build a high-performing leadership team, raise technical standards and improve delivery velocity while ensuring architecture supports a significantly larger business. Diversity and inclusion are valued at bsport.

Formación

• Significant experience leading large and growing engineering organisations.
• Experience at VP/Head of Engineering level with multiple teams.
• Strong foundation in software engineering, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record hiring and developing engineering leaders.
• Experience scaling during significant company growth and change.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the Engineering strategy with CTO and Product leadership.
• Shape organisation, team structure, leadership layer and ways of working.
• Build and develop a strong senior technical leadership team.
• Ensure architecture and infrastructure scale with the business.
• Drive reliability, security, observability, CI/CD and quality.
• Improve velocity, quality and delivery predictability.
• Partner with Product to prioritise capacity across product development.
• Use data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve execution.
• Build, hire and retain a high-performing engineering organisation.
• Develop engineering leaders and foster ownership and accountability.
• Act as strategic partner to CTO, Product, Data and executives.
