bsport is seeking a VP of Engineering to shape strategy, implementation, and execution of engineering across our Barcelona and Paris offices. You will sit on the Executive Committee and work closely with the CTO and CPO to scale our product platform and technology capabilities as we grow.

You will build a high-performing engineering organization, raise technical standards, improve delivery velocity, and ensure architecture supports a larger business.

Formación

• Significant experience leading large engineering organisations.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the Engineering strategy in partnership with CTO and Product leadership.
• Shape the Engineering organisation, team structure, leadership layer and ways of working as bsport scales.
• Build and develop a strong organisation of senior technical leaders.
• Ensure architecture, infrastructure and engineering practices scale with the business.
• Drive improvements across reliability, security, observability, CI/CD and technical quality.
• Balance technical investment and debt with business priorities.
• Improve engineering velocity, quality and delivery predictability.
• Partner with Product to prioritise capacity across development and foundations.
• Use data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve execution.
• Build, hire and retain a high-performing Engineering organisation.
• Develop engineering leaders and foster ownership and accountability.
• Connect technology decisions to customer and business outcomes.
• Prepare Engineering for bsport's next growth stage with data, automation and AI.
