Mercor in Madrid seeks a native Gujarati speaker for precise document annotation and transcription across Gujarati documents. You will delineate and bound each meaningful region, ensure accurate reading order, and reproduce text exactly in Gujarati, including handwriting when legible.

Applicants must display meticulous accuracy, prior experience with annotated documents, and comfort with multi-column and varied layouts. Collaboration with Gujarati experts for review is part of the workflow.

Formación

• Native Gujarati speaker with full command of Gujarati script and orthography.
• Experience with annotation, transcription, localization, or document QA is preferred.
• Character-level accuracy matters and careful handling of complex layouts is required.

Responsabilidades

• Source Gujarati PDFs or documents with multimodal elements and record metadata.
• Annotate and bound every meaningful region (title, heading, paragraph, table, figure, caption, etc.).
• Record reading order and link regions to parent figures/tables.
• Transcribe content exactly in Gujarati, including handwriting where legible.
• Capture page metadata and participate in peer review processes.
