Job summary

The Hoxton Poblenou in Barcelona is seeking a Guest Services Manager to lead day-to-day hotel operations and drive guest experiences across front of house and back of house. You will manage reception teams, oversee rate integrity, and work closely with leadership to maintain a high standard of service throughout guests’ stays.

Ideal candidates will have hotel or leisure sector experience as a Duty Manager or similar role, fluent Spanish and English, with Catalan valued.

Qualifications

• Fluent knowledge of Spanish and English; Catalan knowledge is highly valuable.
• Hotel or leisure experience as Duty Manager or similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Front Office operations and supervise receptionists to ensure a memorable guest experience from arrival to checkout.
• Manage rates and overbooking levels, ensuring a full and satisfied house.
• Be hands-on across front and back of house, maintaining lobby presence and guest interaction.
• Assist the Director of Operations and General Manager with changes in hotel procedures related to health and safety.
• Act as Manager on Duty to keep operations running smoothly and solve issues as they arise.
