King is seeking a Data Scientist for Growth Analytics to join a hands-on role focused on understanding the true value of Performance Marketing. You will combine experimentation, modelling, and business analysis to evaluate marketing effectiveness, explain performance, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that guide investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience in data science, analytics, experimentation, or marketing measurement, with examples of taking an analytical question through to a useful business recommendation.
• Solid understanding of statistical modelling, hypothesis testing, experimentation, and the distinction between correlation and causation.
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL, with experience working with complex datasets and producing clear, reproducible analyses.
• Able to translate analytical findings into practical recommendations on marketing investment and performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Connect Measurement to Business Value: translate analytical findings into practical recommendations on marketing investment, campaign optimisation, and performance expectations.
• Deliver Marketing Measurement: design and analyse incrementality tests and contribute to MMM and other causal analyses, owning defined projects from question to readout.
• Explain Business Performance: investigate ROI variances, distinguish causes, and advise on actions or further evidence.
• Turn Evidence into Decision Frameworks: translate outputs into calibration inputs and benchmarks, support planning within the marketing mix.
• Bridge Business and Technical Questions: frame actionable questions with stakeholders and ensure data and analytical requirements are met.
• Communicate Clearly and Improve Our Approach: explain findings and uncertainties to diverse audiences and seek continuous improvement.
