Gomining is seeking a strong Tech Lead to guide a small engineering team in Spain. You will drive technical direction, own architecture decisions, and stay hands-on with Go-based backend development, solving complex engineering challenges in production.

You will lead a three‑engineer and two QA team, leveraging AI tools to boost quality, velocity, and productivity while collaborating with Product and QA teams across hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Go (Golang) background.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of microservices and asynchronous messaging patterns.
• PostgreSQL, Redis, and REST APIs expertise.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leading engineers and driving technical and architectural decisions.
• Hands-on approach with production development.
• Experience using AI development tools in daily work.

Responsabilités

• Lead the technical direction of the team and own key architecture decisions.
• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Go.
• Stay hands-on with production code and solve complex technical challenges.
• Design reliable, scalable distributed systems.
• Lead code reviews and maintain high engineering standards.
• Improve system performance, reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Identify technical risks and bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Mentor Software Engineers and support their growth.
• Improve team productivity and engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Continuously improve development processes, practices and delivery quality.
• Use AI-powered tools to accelerate workflows and improve code quality.
