Zusammenfassung

BizAway is seeking a People Operations Team Leader to oversee a distributed team and partner with regional HRBPs across Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and Albania. You will drive compensation foundations, benefits programs, and data-driven decisions throughout the employee lifecycle.

The role requires 7+ years in People Operations with hands-on leadership, deep knowledge of Spanish labor regulations, and proven multi-country payroll experience in Europe.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of progressive experience in People Operations and 2+ years in team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish statutory labor regulations and compliance.
• Experience across multi-country European entities (Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Albania).
• Total Rewards, salary benchmarking, equity/phantom shares, and CoE reporting experience.
• Experience with HRIS implementations/migrations, workflow automation, payroll workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills; fluent in English and Spanish.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of People Ops Specialists and upskill people managers on labor compliance.
• Oversee day-to-day employee lifecycle changes and payroll execution; support hiring during peak times.
• Own the annual People Ops calendar, standardize core policies, and coordinate with local HRBPs, Talent Acquisition and Finance.
• Build and maintain job-leveling frameworks and salary benchmarks; manage phantom shares, bonuses, and local benefits programs.
• Own Headcount and Cost of Employment reporting; develop dashboards for data-driven decisions.
• Lead multi-country labor disputes and internal investigations; act as escalation point for complex employee relations issues.
• Review employment contracts, hiring models, and statutory workplace certifications; oversee HRIS migrations and M&A-related processes.
• Advance Sustainability & ESG certifications and ensure compliance for B Corp status across hubs.
