Job summary

HappyRobot is seeking a People Operations Specialist to own onboarding, benefits, and cross‑country HR operations. You will manage relationships with PEOs/EORs across the US, Spain, UK, EMEA, and LATAM, while maintaining Rippling HRIS data integrity and driving automation to improve efficiency.

You will shape engagement programs and policies as the people function matures, requiring hands‑on experience, strong coordination, and comfort with complex multinational HR compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in HR, People Operations, or a generalist People role.
• Hands‑on HRIS experience (Rippling preferred).
• Breadth across onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance, and employee support.
• Comfort with international HR complexity across multiple countries (EOR/PEO).
• Strong coordination skills managing vendors and stakeholders.
• AI-native and automation‑oriented in workflow design.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to for employee questions and documentation, reducing repeats.
• Own onboarding from offer to first day with checks and access coordination.
• Run benefits and leave administration across countries.
• Manage day‑to‑day with PEO/EOR partners and ensure vendor accountability.
• Keep HRIS (Rippling) clean with accurate employee records and status changes.
• Help build people programs and engagement initiatives as the function matures.
• Automate repetitive work using AI tools and Rippling workflows.
