SoftwareOne in Madrid is seeking a Payroll Specialist (Mid-Level) to support day-to-day payroll execution for Spain while coordinating with external providers in Italy and Portugal. This hands-on role offers international exposure under a global team.

You will handle monthly payroll incidents, benefits, and taxes, ensure social security compliance, and maintain accurate employee records. Fluent Spanish and English, with a valid Spain visa, are required; hybrid work is offered.

Formación

• 2–5 years of payroll experience in international environments.
• Degree in Labour Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Proven experience in payroll-focused roles in an operational, hands-on environment.
• Experience managing end-to-end payroll across at least two countries.
• International payroll experience is required.
• Experience with cross-country payroll systems and major payroll software is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Payroll Execution: Record monthly payroll incidents, manage remuneration, benefits, and taxes for Spain.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate monthly payroll inputs/outputs with external providers in Italy and Portugal.
• Employee Support: Serve as the first point of contact for compensation, benefits, taxation, and deductions.
• Personnel Administration & Compliance: Ensure social security obligations and manage records, contracts, registrations/terminations, leaves.
• Data & Finance: Maintain databases and reconcile payroll with Finance.
