Job summary

Deel is seeking an M&A & Integration Specialist to support strategic growth through acquisitions and post-transaction integration. This role blends financial modeling, valuation, and cross-border regulatory analysis to ensure seamless integration into Deel’s platform.

You will collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, and Product teams across multi‑jurisdictional transactions, guiding integration of financial systems and reporting while identifying synergies and risks.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in M&A, corporate development, or related advisory.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation experience.
• Experience with DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, and football field valuations.
• Knowledge of cross-border tax, payments infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks.
• CPA qualification is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities aligned with Deel’s strategic objectives.
• Build and maintain financial models to assess transaction economics and investment returns.
• Perform company valuation analysis including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and football field valuations.
• Support due diligence processes including financial, operational, regulatory, tax, and legal analysis.
• Analyze target company financial statements, revenue models, and cost structures.
• Prepare internal investment materials and decision‑support presentations for leadership.
• Assess cross‑border tax structures, payments infrastructure, regulatory licensing requirements, and legal entity implications.
• Coordinate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Payments, and Product teams during evaluation.
• Support negotiation and structuring of acquisition transactions with internal/external advisors.
• Develop integration plans for acquired businesses across financial reporting and systems.
