Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to lead localization strategy for launching Amazon in new countries. You will own end-to-end readiness, scope and cost decisions, and build scalable frameworks to streamline launches across multiple business lines.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive governance, and ensure high-quality localized content for Day 1 readiness. You will work closely with expansion teams, manage budgets, and pilot AI/LLM solutions to automate manual processes and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in program or project management.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
• Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
• Experience delivering end-to-end and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience managing content projects of varying complexity, content review and localization oversight.
• Familiarity with NMT or LLM machine translation technologies and understanding of software i18n.

Responsibilities

• Own country launch readiness end-to-end from intake through go-live; coordinate cross-functionally to deliver launches on time.
• Prioritize scope and cost; phase localization to maximize impact while staying on budget.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and prevent wasted work on cancelled scope.
• Build and enforce governance; define readiness criteria and manage financial controls.
• Maintain quality at scale by coordinating localization content and conducting UAT.
• Create repeatable processes, runbooks, and playbooks to ease future launches.
• Communicate status to senior leadership and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Identify AI-driven automation opportunities to reduce program costs.
• Onboard new business lines into localization framework and enable future self-service.
