Job summary

Tether Operations Limited seeks a Head of Global Events & Travel to lead the strategy, governance, and execution of our worldwide events and corporate travel function. The role governs flagship, VIP, and client-facing events, internal meetings, and the travel program with a focus on cost control and ROI.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading corporate events and managed travel programs.
• Experience leading a global function in an international environment.
• Proven track record managing large conferences (5,000+ attendees).
• Hands-on experience implementing corporate travel frameworks and TMCs.
• Strong understanding of travel safety protocols, GDPR, and duty of care.
• Excellent communication with C-Suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Team; recruit open roles, establish team cadence, and build capabilities across the function.
• Oversee Flagship, VIP & Client-facing Events and manage budgets and brand standards set by C-Level leadership.
• Oversee Internal Meetings & Offsites and standardize playbooks for routine gatherings.
• Lead the Travel Operating Model Transition, including RFPs, contracts, policy, and migration.
• Own global travel strategy, master agreements, and major operational escalations.
• Manage consolidated event and travel budgets, revenue/cost-recovery models, and ROI tracking.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on revenue targets and client experience.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and People Ops to streamline global delivery.
