Job summary

Lever, Inc. is partnering to fill a Global Director – Accounts Payable based in Spain. You will lead the global Procure-to-Pay function, oversee AP, procurement operations, and governance across countries, driving standardization and efficiency.

You'll partner with Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, IT, and Operations to implement policies, automate processes, and improve reporting. This senior role shapes a scalable, technology-driven finance function in a dynamic professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years in procurement, AP, or shared services.
• Experience across multiple countries or legal entities.
• Strong knowledge of P2P lifecycle and controls.
• Experience with ERP and procurement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Procure-to-Pay operations across countries.
• Develop and enforce global policies and governance.
• Strengthen internal controls and risk management.
• Drive automation and centralization of processes.
• Oversee shared services performance and SLAs.
• Support integration of acquired businesses.
• Provide accurate reporting for FP&A and cash management.
