Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Intern to join our Electro Physiology division as a Field Technical Engineer Intern for Galicia (second location could be Santiago). You will support EP procedures, contribute to market intelligence, and participate in Abbott events while learning and growing toward a full-time role.

The role requires a B.S. in Bioengineering or related field, strong MS Office skills, and English fluency (C1). A valid driving license and an internship agreement are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Location: Galicia, second location could be Santiago.
• B.S degree preferably in Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications or related sciences.
• Good computer utilization and presentation skills, including MS Office and Email.
• Fluent in English (Level C1).
• Mandatory to sign an University or Business School Agreement for the internship.
• Mandatory Driving License (1 year at least).

Responsibilities

• Provide primary technical support to physicians and nurses during Electrophysiology procedures using Abbott equipment over the assigned territory.
• Support all activities related to the promotion of EP products, including internal and external educational programs, customer clinical training and other Abbott events.
• Identify additional opportunities with existing customers and invest in Abbott education offerings to grow from intern to full-time.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge to support Abbott’s product advantages.
• Understand Abbott’s product portfolio to compare with competition and offer solutions across situations.
