McMaster Yachts Crew is seeking an Engineer for a 35m+ sailing yacht. This is a hands-on role on a private vessel with the owner who enjoys sailing. The position is full-time and starts ASAP; salary is open to discussion, with a leave package negotiable.

Candidates must have yacht experience and hold Yacht Master Offshore plus AEC 1 & 2, with proven electronics, PLC and hydraulics skills. Med season maintenance precedes a yard period in Spain and winter plans in the Caribbean.

Formación

• Experience in electronics, PLC and hydraulics is required.
• Must hold Yacht Master Offshore certificate.
• AEC 1 and AEC 2 certifications required.
• Proven sailing yacht experience is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting on a 35m+ sailing yacht.
• Assist during sailing and support deck operations as needed.
• Work with the crew on a private vessel under the owner's direction.

• Private boat, and the owner is an enthusiastic sailor

• You need experience in electronics, PLC, and hydraulics

• Recently finished their Mediteranean season, going to a yard in Spain for a couple of months, and then onto the Caribbean for the winter

• This is a hands-on boat, and the crew do the majority of the maintenance.

• You must have your Yacht Master Offshore and AEC 1 & 2

• Contributions towards courses

• You must have worked on Sailing yachts before, and be willing to help out while sailing.
