Captain seeks an experienced Sole Engineer for a private 46m sailing yacht based in Spain. The role involves overseeing all engineering operations and maintenance, ensuring safety standards and smooth sailing on worldwide itineraries.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, conduct routine inspections, manage spare parts, and collaborate with a seven-person multinational crew. STCW, ENG1 and B1/B2 certificates, fluent English, and a full driving license are required.

We are seeking a Sole Engineer to join our team on a 46m yacht, built in 2011, currently based in Spain. The role involves overseeing all engineering operations and maintenance for the vessel, ensuring compliance with safety standards and efficient performance during worldwide cruising itineraries. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, conducting routine inspections, and managing spare parts inventory. This position is rotational and requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a solid background in marine engineering. Candidates should have relevant certifications and experience in similar roles on yachts or large vessels. The role demands effective communication skills to collaborate with a crew of seven and ensure seamless operations at sea.

Private 46m sailing yacht is looking for an experienced engineer to join the crew. Position is a job share 2:2. Might work for someone looking to progress in courses. There is no salary off rotation. Boat has a cat c32 which is 1000KW and GRT 269.We need an adaptable engineer that is confident, hands on the tools, good problem solving skills and professional in approach. Must be flexible in all areas. Interdepartmental cross over a must. Management skills of people and projects. The boat is currently located in Mediterranean Spain. Position starts 30th September in SOF. Boat operates privately but runs voluntary Cayman Island compliance and we are running Lloyds classification. We are up to date with 15year special completed. Family boat with 7 multinational crew and very sociable owners who like to include crew in their experience. MEOL, AEC or Y4/Y3 beneficial. Minimum visible tattoos, non-smoker, clean living, social alcohol consumer, must hold a full driving license, STCW, ENG1 and B1/B2. Fluent English a must.
