Head of Department on a 50m private motor yacht seeks an experienced Chief Officer to lead the deck team with hands-on professionalism and confidence. Requirements include Chief Officer 3000 GT CoC, STCW and ENG1, plus tender driving and water sports experience.

Excellent bridge procedures, passage planning, and maintenance are essential. The role begins with a Med shipyard period, then winter berth and summer cruising with potential charters.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chief Officer to join a 50m private motor yacht.

The ideal candidate will be professional, active, hands‑on, and confident in leading the deck team while maintaining high standards across all deck operations.

Requirements:

• Chief Officer 3000 GT CoC – mandatory.
• Previous experience on similar-sized motor yachts preferred
• Strong deck maintenance and organisational skills
• Confident managing and motivating the deck team
• Good knowledge of bridge procedures, passage planning, safety equipment, drills and planned maintenance
• Tender driving and water sports experience
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Physically active and willing to work alongside the deck team
• Well-presented and professional
• Non smoker
• Valid STCW and ENG1 / Seafarer Medical

The upcoming program will be a shipyard period in the Med, followed by a winter berth, then Summer cruising with the possibility of Charters.

The package on offer is $7,000.00 USD per month (D.O.E), 90 days paid leave, and 2 repatriation flights per year.

We are looking for the successful candidate to join in Spain in the next 7-10 days.
