UST is hiring a Full Stack Java/React engineer to join a multinational team in Madrid. You will work within a cross-functional, Agile, DevOps-focused group to design, build, deploy, and monitor scalable applications.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects, participation in code reviews, and mentoring peers while delivering high-quality software across frontend and backend domains.

Formación

• Proven experience in Software Engineering following industry best practices.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD and test automation.

Technical Professional Experience

• Proven experience in Software Engineering following industry best practices.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, including Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Test automation

Education Languages

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong English communication skills.

Full Stack Expectations

• Ability to work across both frontend and backend development.
• A deeper specialization in either frontend or backend is acceptable.
• Willingness to contribute in both domains when required.

Technology Stack

• Backend: Java - Spring Boot - Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) - RESTful APIs - SQL (Oracle)
• Frontend: React - JavaScript - TypeScript
• Cloud Infrastructure: Kubernetes (PKS) - Virtual Machines

Location

Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.
