UST in Madrid is seeking a proactive Senior Software Engineer to join a global DevOps-driven team. You will design, develop and deploy cloud-native applications, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

The role emphasizes TDD/BDD, REST APIs, microservices, and modern tooling like Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitLab and Jenkins, with Azure exposure a plus.

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Strong focus on software quality via TDD/BDD practices.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate in a cross-functional Agile team in a DevOps setting.
• Design, develop, deploy, release, and monitor software applications.
• Participate in PR reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Work with stakeholders across divisions to translate requirements into solutions.
• Contribute to planning, estimation, and feature refinement.
• Partner with Solution Architects to align with architectural vision.
• Build and maintain cloud-native, containerized apps.
• Manage deployments with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Engage with engineering communities and share knowledge.

Main Tasks And Accountabilities Will Be

• Work closely with business stakeholders and colleagues across different divisions to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to planning, estimation, and feature refinement activities.
• Partner with Solution Architects to design solutions aligned with the company's architectural vision.
• Build and maintain cloud-native, containerized applications.
• Manage deployments using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Participate actively in software engineering communities by sharing knowledge and helping team members.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
